About This Piece

Vintage Design

Important design by Henning Koppel exhibited at the British Museum and Museum of Modern Art in New York. This set consist of a milk/sugar jug/bowl and the Koppel Characteristic teapot with its tapered handle in solid teak. It is called Form 24 and was designed by Koppel in 1962. This set is a pristine example from this era. Both the sugar bowl and teapot was manufactured at Bing & Grøndahl in Denmark. Serial numbers: 301 and 302. Measurements: Teapot: h: 14, w: 28, d: 11 cm, Creamer: h: 5, w/d: 7.5 cm. Teapot: Barely used. Well-kept, intact and clean condition. Sugar bowl: Intact with a bit of wear to the top edge.
