Here we have a stunning presedential-style solid oak desk dating 1936 made during King Edward VIII's brief reign - with makers mark making it an extremely rare piece.

Made from solid oak with a rich, time-worn finish, the desk features a green leather inset writing surface with decorative gilt edging, four generous drawers, and the classic knee-hole design that makes it both practical and elegant. The original brass cup handles add just the right amount of understated charm.

It’s a solid, weighty piece and would be perfect as a home office desk, study piece, or statement furniture in a characterful interior.

Overall this is in great condition and a really stunning piece, but there is slight damage to the leather (see photo) and some small ink staining inside the drawers.
