Vintage Design

This brass and glass chandelier, produced in Czechoslovakia around the 1970s, exemplifies the Space Age aesthetic that dominated European lighting design of the period. Its radial composition of spherical glass shades and brass fittings recalls the form of an atomic model — a signature motif of mid-century modern futurism.

Probably manufactured by Lustry n.p., Kamenický Šenov, one of Czechoslovakia’s leading glass and lighting producers, the chandelier demonstrates precise metal craftsmanship combined with blown glass elements. The piece remains in very good vintage condition, with all components preserved and functional.

This sculptural design works as a central light fixture for living rooms or dining areas, adding character to interiors ranging from mid-century modern to industrial or minimalist spaces.
