Vintage Design

This exquisite four-light candelabra is an outstanding example of mid-century Italian Brutalist design. Designed by Antonella Caprio Saviato in the 1960s, the piece captivates with its organic, almost fluid, yet textured surface.

Made of solid brass using the high-quality sand-casting process, the object weighs a substantial 1.3 kg. Its sculptural form, with its characteristic irregular projections and perforations, beautifully captures the light. The underside of the candelabra is flawlessly and clearly marked with the original foundry mark (an oval hallmark with a checkerboard pattern and the letter "S" for Saviato) as well as the model designation "R".

A striking collector's item, perfect as a standalone piece on a sideboard or dresser.

Very good vintage condition with a beautiful, original patina. No damage.
