Vintage Design

A rare set of seven NR135 model tealight holders in gilded brass and red blown glass, designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Liljeholmens Stämningsljus and produced by Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB Markaryd, Sweden.
The perfectly transparent and luminous ruby-red glass globes rest on patinated gilded brass supports with subtle variations in color and some uniform oxidation, testifying to a preserved original patina.
Almost all of the pieces retain the manufacturer's label.
Scandinavian work from the period circa 1950-1960.
This complete set, including all heights (28 cm, 30 cm, 42 cm), is particularly rare on the market and sought after by collectors of Scandinavian design. The vibrant colors and quality of manufacture make it a decorative set as well as a testament to Swedish craftsmanship. ________________________________________
