About This Piece

Vintage Design

Very large vase with a circular foot, a conical body with pronounced shoulders, and a tapering neck decorated with relief fern motifs.

The oxblood red ground glaze highlights the delicate gray blossoms and white leaves with yellow centers. The fern motifs and rim are further accented in yellow, creating vivid contrast against the deep red surface.

Fine craquelure across the glazed surface enhances the authentic character. The underside bears the Zsolnay manufactory mark.
