This collection of French porcelain plates delicately evokes the old Parisian trades, immortalized in time. Each plate represents an emblematic profession, starting with the bowl seller, inspired by a lithograph by Carle Vernet, from the collection “Cris de Paris”. We also discover the water carrier, an essential figure in Parisian daily life, as well as the seller of cooked pears, bringing a gourmet touch to this series. The rag picker, symbol of resourcefulness, rubs shoulders with the nut seller, who evokes the flavors of yesteryear.
