Lisas Retro Design

Lisas Retro Design is based in Tomelilla, the southern part of Sweden, and is the product of owner Elisabeth Haward's long-time love of design. From 1973 to 1976 Elisabeth studied carpentry at Stockholm's School of Carl Malmsten, where she learnt the valuable art of renovating furniture - a skill that guarantees her products are beautifully cared for and restored if necessary. The inspiration for Lisas Retro Design came in 1999 following a trip to Denmark during which Elisabeth discovered Danish vintage furniture. She loaded her car with teak furniture, other vintage items and lamps from various flea markets, and thus a boutique - and a lifestyle - was born.
