Vintage Design

It is an exceptional cutlery set for 9 people, 4 pieces each with nine knives, forks, soup spoons and dessert spoons. The Model 2070 was designed by Helmut Adler in the 1950s and manufactured by Amboss Austria. It is made of stainless steel and has the AUA symbol at the end of the handle, as it was actually designed as on-board cutlery in 1957/58. The design is unusual, the trapezoidal shape of the knives (due to the position when eating - due to the narrowness of the airplane seats) and the rounded angular shapes of the spoons and forks is a special design feature.
There are also four knives, two forks and a sugar spoon. Each object is marked with Amboss Austria 18/8. Dimensions approx. Height 18.5 cm - 7.28 in, width 2.5 cm - 4.92 in, depth 0.5 cm - 0.2 in.
